Miss. Anxiety

Flirting with fate
As she seduces you
With words
That make love
To your ears

Her weapon of choice
An overwhelming
Sense of worthlessness
Bestowed on her
Victims

Effortlessly, she rips
Her prey’s confidence
Without any hope
Of regaining it

Beware, she may seem
Innocent and naïve
But under her mascara
She vindictively
Watches you become her
Helpless pawn

She slowly devours
Naïve souls
Not caring
Who she hurts

Let me introduce you
To miss anxiety
May you two
Never meet
