THE LITTLE THINGS

It's the little things,
I miss the most.
It's the memories that
Haunt me like a ghost.

It was looking at you,
Seeing that smile.
You had this way of,
Making things worthwhile.

It was you taking,
My hand when we walked.
It was the flash in your
Eyes when we talked.

It was the quiet way
You moved.
It's the way your
In the groove.

It's your project's,
Scattered about.
It's the love
I'm without.

It's the look you have
When you sleep.
It's that grin when
You get it for cheap.

It was lying next to you,
Feeling you breathe.
It was 100% Satisfaction
Guaranteed.

It’s the way you said,
I love you, Debbie.
It’s the little things that
Make the heart feel heavy.

Geezer

through a divorce, I can attest to the fact, that at some point, we love the person and looking back at those days in love;
we can remember the good things. Never forget, that there once was that spark of love, and it hurts when that is lost. I like the
theme, the pace and the rhyme. You have a typo in line 3 stanza 4. It should read [you're]. ~ Geezer.

Lavender

Hello, turbo1904,
There is something calming and soothing in this. I believe it is acceptance - as if the narrator (you?) is calming herself. A lovely sense of appreciation and fondness for a dear relationship, and a keen awareness and respect for those little things that made it what is was. There is nothing like hearing our name after the words "I love you..." Precious.
I think I would remove all the line ending punctuation, especially since you start each line with a cap and the lines seem to be a collection of thoughts, but not necessarily meant to stand alone.
I wish you well,
Lavender

Thank you so much, Lavender. Acceptance is the key here. Scattered thoughts, I somehow put a poem together. Again, thank you for taking the time to read the poem and comment.

Best Wishes,
