My journey

Only by faith
Will better days Arrive
I must remember the better days
The way we loved
Balanced
each day
surrendering always by compromise
To continue my journey
For better days to survive
I must let go
To give my heart freedom I need peace of mind
So within my heart for her a small part will be saved
A decision to love again at this point
Only faith will provide

Sorry for your loss. The poem is beautiful. It deals with some of the difficulties one might have moving forward with other romantic relationships. The fear of disappointing the list lover or the trauma of that loss just eating away. I’m glad you’re doing this tribute for both yourself but also as an honor of her legacy. May your work touch others’ hearts the way she touched yours.
