APOGEE AND PERIGEE.

Full and first last quarters
Dark and blue shades of me
Hidden behind clouds you never see
My beauty of Apogee and Perigee
And all the gifts I give to thee
The winds and tides and gravity
Love, Romance and Poetry
Phases bathing alone every night
Gold and Silver burning bright
For all the world to see
I'm just a mirror, glowing in the light
A reflection, is all I'll ever be.

Drifting alone, continually here
And you don't even known I'm there
All the times I eclipsed the Sun
Captured comets, one by one
The constellations I arranged
Just for you to give them names
Only for us to see and envy
So our nights wouldn't be as empty
Heaven belonged to you and me
The stars, forever and eternity
And Saturn even gave us rings
Sadly now, they don't mean a thing.

Endlessly lost, I orbit alone
Around the only home I've known
And this hold you have on me
Now wishes, someday to be free
To run away forever with eternity
To somewhere it is, that comets go
You and your friend, can be all alone
And every star you've ever known
They'll all leave and accompany me
Emptiness Is all you'll ever see
Nothing but darkness
How everything once used to be.....

I love the title, it is magical. a formula to promote thought! the flow from the rhyme is impeccable. I loved it. these are my favorite lines:

Endlessly lost, I orbit alone
Around the only home I've known
And this hold you have on me
Now wishes, someday to be free
To run away forever with eternity
To somewhere it is, that comets go
You and your friend, can be all alone
And every star you've ever known
They'll all leave and accompany me
Emptiness that's all you will see
Nothing but darkness
How everything once use to be.....

in the last line:
"use to be"
should be (used to be)
