I think that Ralph and Alice still reside in that little dumpy apt. next to their neighbors Norm and Trixie. They have just been buried by the Socially-Correct crowd. They are no longer invited into our living-rooms like 'Sanford and Sons' or the 'Moving On Up' crowd. Too bad, that we have become so sensitized to political and social correctness, that we can't laugh with them at our foibles. We have to remember that Ralph never hit Alice with that punch to "send her to the moon", Fred Sanford and his son were successful black business men, and there were interracial marriages on "The Jefferson's". They always resolved their differences without killing each other or serious rifts in their relationships. What is wrong with that? The 'General Lee' was the means for giving the crooked 'Boss Hogg' his due and you knew that the 'Duke Boys' would make the Sherriff pay for being 'Boss' stooge. I totally agree with the statement by Morgan Freeman, "I'm going to stop calling you a white man and I want you to stop calling me a black man. "The only way to stop racism is to stop talking about it".~ Geezer.
