Colors

He painted the sun a bright yellow
He flicked green grass to and fro
He painted the beautiful meadow
He even painted the black of the crow

He splashed dark blue into the sea
He painted the leaves on the trees
He created the small green pea
And the stripes on bumble bees

He carefully crafted the deer
Putting white dots here and there
He even made the sunset
Leaving a big red smear

He put color in all that we see
But he put the most in you and me

thanks, I really like this poem. It is just a beautiful thing. Probably one of my best sunshiny poems.

Hello, Viviana,
Your poem has reminded me of many of the things I am grateful for. What stands out for me is the way you have blended majestic creations, like the sun and the sea, together with the small green pea and bumblebees.
Thank you!
