THE MEN TIMES BREED

Terrible times breed terrible men
or is it the other way around?
How can we in this time ken
the minds of those now in the ground?

"Ruthless" we might call a decision
made by those in desperate times
by those who'd seen with certain vision
the results of mass war crimes.

Can we ever know the minds of those
who sent young men out to die
by virtue of ribbons on clothes?
Were they haunted? Did they cry?

Well over a century of war
with few interludes of peace.
There will likely be a hundred more
of death dealt without cease.

So we'll need still this type men
men with hair turned early white
for only hard men can begin
to give orders to win the fight.

For barbarians are at the gate,
those who'd destroy us if they can.
Everything we love they hate.
Who will be our next terrible man?

This poem is the type I called, the heart touching thought because really did touch me when ever I see or here that people are been killing others as if they can make a life, well, life is not only about suger and honey but also involves bitterness that's the way it's designed.
