Past it ( Whatever it is ) November Contest

I am in a quandary
What has been happening to me?
I put my morning coffee away
In the fridge and there it stayed

I found it later in the day
As I was putting the cutlery away
Oh shit what is going on
How can I get everything so wrong?

Couldn’t find my glasses to see
Till I scratched my head
I should have stayed in my bed
But which room was my bed in.

I shouted for help as I always do
No good I remembered
I was on my own in this old house
As years ago I had left you.

If you know where I live
And you are just passing by
Drop in to see me
All I can do now, is raise a sigh..

Many thanks for your support all these years, I see that you are the elder But I will still call you young Bard, or maybe you would prefer Old Bard lol.
I won the odd arrow head a while back and $25 when the Prof did the contest, but the $25 became lost in Amason's maw some place so this will be more interesting to see what happens I shall miss the cruise, as I hear it is to see the northern lights again.
You take care and great to have you visit,
Yours Ian

We have been here for many a year and have seen loads of poets enter and leave.
I miss some of them especially when they go on that other journey.
Thank you young Bard for walking with us over the years, through many words, verses, and poetry.
We have see many visions of poets being swept up in their imaginations, not knowing who they really are.
I think that this is the hard part, we never really know those we walk with.
One day our faces will be seen true to life and our beings will become clear to us as we walk.
Maybe it will be on the other side, where the children are, one good thing about where the children are, the ones you see are pure without pretence.
One day in the distance when you become as one with the universe just whisper my name " Grandad " or even Sadie if you can remember then I shall come and sit a while with you.
Take care young Bard we have much to do before our othe journey,
Yours, as always, Ian
