The Pacific

I stand here
at the shore of the Pacific ocean
distant, distant, very far distance

From here there appears no horizon
just vast expanse
so distant pure imagination
my mind simply wonders
it must be there
some where
Sun as it sets

but of course
as it sets
tells all here ‘tis
and
as it sleeps
it says

Good night!
have sweet dreams
I shall awaken you again
some day
tomorrow may
but as I come
as a new today
today the sun has set
Good night!
to all ye
