un-Pythagorean

our world keeps on changing
so too has geometry
when two alienated nations don't meet
the line of a peace accord

when most things are obtuse
and right is just a notion
the Pythagoras theorem
is no more an algorithm

when peoples get divided
by incongruous isms
virtual seems so real
a trivial illusion

in today's geo metrics
where the angles keep on changing
these dynamics spell the end
of the Pythagoras regime

what's good today
becomes stale tomorrow
nothing is constant
except change

About This Poem

Last Few Words: With due respect to the scientific fraternity including Pythagoras who have made notable scientific contributions in their respective fields...i would like to clarify that reference to Pythagoras theorem is made in this poem in the general context that theories and postulates of bygone years need to evolve over time and not to really challenge his acclaimed theorem about right angled triangle...the words right...angles etc. are in the context of this theme only..

I wonder what inspires this piece but I must say that it has grabbed my attention though I'm not that good at maths :)
"nothing is constant
