Losing?

what is losing?
is it finite, infinite,
tangible, intangible
physical, metaphysical

or of something not found
as funny as spectacles on the head
thoughts, memories having no shape or sound

or those sunken feelings of
ignorance, misfortune
being a desert rose
a kid separated from mother

or that half finished coke
shared with a stranger
on the train?

don't curse, just smile
get rid of that stupid feeling
feel light, move on
put behind the lost baggage

your lost pen will find someone
to write poems found within

tackled such a difficult theme in such a way!!
I really like how effortlessly goes the flow.
I bet this pen won't lose its way.
Keep writing my friend.

Loved this one, it really put the loss fact into perspective, I could have, or I should have then all those times we didn't.
I hold onto the odd memory that is bolstered now and then and brought up to date what do we do then, I embrace the memory re invented and kept alive like someone loaning you that lost pen to scroll beaut words.
Love it, though don't do it, lol..

Yours Ian..
