Silvery Raindrops

Dark clouds
Strong winds
Before the rain falls.

I sit upon my threshold
On a comfy pillow
So my boney butt won’t hurt.

Underneath cool silvery raindrops
Trees sway in high winds
As grey skies cast over me.

My knees are soaked
My feet are grounded
Rests on steps made of cinder blocks.

Lovely verses pour from your pen like the crystal clear raindrops...so many good lines in your poem...keep them pouring...

It’s raining everyday here for a few minutes as I sit outside soaking up the suns energy. I get inspired to write a poem as I listen to the rain coming in like a freight train of wind

is it time to start a Renga on the theme of rain / raindrops?....It has been time since you indulged in a Renga...just a thought to tickle your mind..it is only fair that I start with one

Each droplet of rain
a mercenary of life
gods send from the skies
