A piercing cry, a horrified scream
Travels down the deserted street
The fog rolls in from the bubbling stream
As the children trick or treat
In the dark, in the wicked dark
Black evil lurks in the night
A predator roams the lonely park
Staying out of sight
A young and foolish woman; brave
Unafraid of ghosts
Said; “I'm not scared of any grave”
Her beer, she raised in toast
“Let the ghouls and creepys come
I'll send them on their way”
She didn't know, that there are some
Who didn't come to play
First warning came as a grunt of hurt
A sob of wracking pain
The smell of blood, a crimson spurt
She fell, not to rise again
“Too late”, thought Killer, as he ran
“I couldn't stop this one
This evil kills because it can
Just because it's fun”
Face to face, with the bloody mess
Killer saw the perpetrator
Hands beneath her shredded dress
The monster said; “I ate her!”
Jaws dripping spit and bloody drool
Claws tearing pale, white skin
His hairy feet in a dark red pool
He said; “Too late, I win!”
Killer's knife blurred out to hand
Faster than the eye
“Werewolf, make your final stand
Because tonight, you die!”
Fangs and claws; a Bowie knife
Began to flash and whirl
There is now a fight for life
By the body of the girl
As Killer swung and wildly slashed
The moon glowed orange and red
Werewolf teeth were loudly gnashed
Killer's fingers bled
Killer smiled as he danced and swayed
The werewolf wondered why
A tune in Killer's memory played
He laughed so he wouldn't cry
Memories of a different time
He's kept locked away
Killer's fight to spoil crime
Makes him a hero today
The werewolf put up quite a fight
He howled an awful cry
But it's our Killer's turn tonight
This monster had to die
Killer's fist pumped up and down
His Bowie struck again
The werewolf screamed a strangled sound
The monster's voice held pain
As Killer stood o'er his fallen foe
He heaved a heavy sigh
Where was the evil, where did it go?
He howled to the sullen sky

Killer,
Killer does the business again, great theme as all the little monster are let lose. Well written poetic storytelling as we have come to expect. Regards Roscoe..
Thank you Roscoe...
Killer is happy to be back and swinging a knife! It makes him feel good to be able to take out the bad guys. I think that there are plenty of bad monsters and people out there, but he is having trouble finding those that really need killing. I mean, are a lot of people and bad guys that you want to hurt because of their ways, but killing them is not always an option. Oh well, I guess maybe I can have him slice up a few terrorists for the pot. Thanks for your comments and let us know if there are any baddies you think need cutting up. ~ Gee.

Good to see Killer
Back at it again. I was never fond of werewolves, so I am glad Killer was able to extinguish that one. Another fantastic Halloween poem featuring our favorite murderer. Looking forward to seeing what else Killer is up to.
We thank you...
Killer needed to get out and kill something and a ferocious werewolf was just the ticket! Glad you liked Killer's latest adventure! ~ Gee.

Of course I did!
Sometimes we need to summon our inner serial killer to stay sane, mine has been dormant for quite a while. One of these days she may resurface...
