Memories my Life’s Memoirs
Memories are imprints
everlasting ones,
on footprints,
maybe
finger prints,
of time,
but all evade us
even does time,
but memories take
much longer
these none can erase,
it’s an inevitable phase,
today
becomes
a yesterday
and
tomorrow
we hope to play,
again as a today
then memories, more will form
friend how then
can one wash them away
can you, friend or anyone
that ever say
mine have become
memoirs from this day

Memories everlasting
Memories are what keep the past alive and are a way of holding on to new experiences that will one day be in our past. You've managed to express this in a well conceived poem, with a even flow till I came to the very beginning with... 'then the memories, more will form.' At that point you lose me a little bit. I've been playing with that part and here's a thought: (and if I'm missing something please feel free to say so)
Then as time passes
more memories form
no one
not a friend
nor anyone
can wash away
they'll become
my memoirs from this day
again it's just a thought....and all in all I did enjoy the read very much!
