Self acceptance is a virtue
We must all laugh
at ourselves
it's the highest form of pleasure
after you do appreciate another
measure for measure ',
twill be the second best
life's pleasure
assurance
I can only give
if reciprocating too is your pleasure
in absolutely equal measure
twill be our life's treasure

Good logic and ethic
Yes, "Self acceptance is a virtue." At the same time, it is a means of success as well as a mechanism of defense against depression. Good logic and ethic. Please tell me: shall I take twill in its literal meaning (eg, twill weave) or the contraction of it will ('twill)?
Would you care to read my poem "The ascetic and I" and tell me good and bad things about it? Thank you.
twill be an honour to
as in '
it will
thank you so much

In a village...we exhault the shamans
who tell tales in riddles
but makes us laugh and think
not bash or crash with petulant trash
(The old days they were run out
tarred or feathered or worse..true story)
always love your great wit and mind
Lovedly..such clever wording
You have your own voice here...
as always..
And youve always been bright
and helpful
Never malevolent
how we do not need
this...
thank U!
I enjoy the sentiment,
I enjoy the sentiment, especially the aspect of exploring self-humour. And I also feel a very real entreaty for attention and reassurance here, too. Let me then have the pleasure of telling you that I found this a lovely read. We always looks for mirrors in others, without them it can be hard to tell if you exist at all. You express a very tangible vulnerability in your poetry, which I truly respect.
you have just come and seen a bit of my slice
some say my poetry is not worth any price
they want me to be sliced
thank you for your lovely encouragement
I don't lose heart suddenly
you are today
in pre autumn
a summer

sexton killed herself..
a tortured soul..beautiful soul
beautiful woman...person
sucessful....loved..admired
but lost..crushed..gave up
gave in..
in her pockets was not stones
like Wolfe..Virginia
but a harsh critique from
a critic...
why evil words kill
more then kind encouragement
U have a unique voice and way
of looking at the world
and U express it well
for those that speak english
they often just use it too knock
others down..jealous of the
beautiful unique voice
we need more voices of beauty
then the rising rabble of
the ordinary miserable
and jealous wanting too
take a gift that is given
that..IT that can never
be stolen...but can be
crushed..
Strive forth that strength
in self belief and continuous
writing will like an ice breaker
bust a path for others to
follow!
thank U!

Words of wisdom....
To be able to laugh at oneself is is essential for all of us. No one is perfect and to be able to see and admit to our own imperfections is what helps to makes us 'human.' Who are we to male fun of others if we can't make fun of our selves?! Your wise words are expressed in a well conceived, poetic way!

You are precisely brief
