White Spots
white....but not the white of fallen snow
spots.....not associated with new fawns
white spots
................stealthy invaders
white spots
................harbingers of a styx trip
white spots on X-rays
white spots
...............theives of loved ones, friends
cancer
I hate white spots

I'm sorry Stan
to hear about your friend. Is there any chance for him to recover? I hope
The way you've put it, I felt as if I am in a hollow room only with white sheets and some medical equipment.
Sad!
a powerful write Stan
Just imo, i don't think you need the last two lines... in fact just imo again lol - I think it is more powerful without them
Thinking of you - been there... my best friend died three months after being diagnosed
Love judy

Thank you both
But I think there is little hope as it has now spread throughout a lot of bones. When you read a lot of my stuff dealing with nature, a lot of it is built upon hunting trips we went on for well over 30 years. He's at home now and taking chemo but even he thinks it's just going through the motions. But who knows? Perhaps he will be the one in a hundred in which everybody is proven wrong. If he goes, with whom will I scout and hunt now? And who else will argue politics with me without becoming angry? I'm not one who gives and makes friends easily and he is one of the few who I can call friend as opposed to acquaintance....................
