MORNING WAYS
When shadows gray
and blue melancholy
cross my brow
as morning strikes
and I awake
I wonder how
many ways
I can break
this evil spell

A piece of awe,.
That you wake is a blessing, it means that you still have much to do, just ask what the tasks are, but maybe you already know the things you have to do..
A Good write glad that you awoke to a new day, Yours Ian.T

Elegant, succinct and meaningful
A perfect piece of verse, not a word of excess or out of place. In just nine lines and twenty six words you present feeling with imagery, dilemma and hope. Quite extraordinary.
I am pleased and encouraged.
