Of all the creatures that
have crossed the page,
my favourite of all
is the White Sage
Passing through time
from magic sands,
it was gifted her Story
went through the lands
From trails of snails
and the twitter of birds,
nature alone
passed on the word
Her beauty does shine
and challenge the light,
the twinkle of eye
glows sapphire at night
A gown flowing free
of golden hue,
and the cord at waist
a rainbow of blues
Her voice does soothe
the furies of fate,
her touch will heal
an object of hate
Dreaming stories
to the four winds
telling and teaching
as time did begin
Weaving tales
that float in thin air,
riding a griffin
without any care
Painting the streaks
that tail the stars,
leaving a map
to treasure afar
Shaping a horn
of timeless life,
the unicorn born
did jump tonight
At night if I
sit statue still,
I see a griffin
crest the hill
watching as magic
dazzles an age,
I sit in awe
of the White Sage

Now, I see...
who and what the White Sage is! I was trying to puzzle it out all the while I was reading it, and then at the end...
You dropped it on me! How clever! What a nice birthday present! Love and higgest bugs, ~ Gee
thanks Gee
I plan to tidy this one up its in need of some work so if you have any thoughts I would love to hear them, I remember Ann was quite chuffed when I gave it to her ... I plan to send her a framed copy once I think its good enough

A lovely piece for a birthday, I will accept the White Sage as is then puzzle later ?? Loved the visions of the old things it gives them life in another world, a talk with an old Sage that is of the Aboriginal people would bring an insight to Dream Time that is not only the beginning but for ever,
Take care out there and keep safe, Yours Ian
