paisley print
sunflower smile
sat alongside
a leopard that ate parsley
paw in hand
waiting on the sand
for flying fish
to skip upon
cobalt banners
as lazy breezes
pan-fluted recollections
of this Iberian summer

I think it stands for Best Friends Forever.... in my time it was forever friend.... lol
BFF?
Thanks for education but did it come from the inbetweeners Tv programme? or is it standard parlance?
haha!
Close but not quite. I think the curly haired dude in the 'Inbetweeners' did use that phrase once, I can't recall for sure. I sorta tune out when he mumbles sarcastically while his friends bag him out. :-)
cryptic
BFF I looked it up well I am so glad it was the friend, now come on a leopard's eating parsley????.
I have heard of a Turkey getting stuffed with the stuff, and even your flying fish could have the sauce to use some, have you been distilling the stuff or using it as snuff it has addled your brain...????
See you on the other side I do hope by then you will be sane LOL
Have a lovely holiday, Yours Ian.T
Hello Ian.T
Long time! Thanks for the repartee. And yes, sad to say, I will never be sane again.
Safe to say, my forever friend understands that likening them to a parsley eating leopard wouldn't change their spots.
Most addledly yours, CB

It's a great pity you have been away I was in Brisbane at the end of 2011, it would have been great to have met but we seemed doomed Laddie.
Take care of you and yours have a great 2013, my daughter and family live there at the moment, maybe I will return one day..
Yours Ian.T
Maybe!
By that time I would have found or founded a local watering hole for poets, not writers in general but poets specifically. I also have a pet dream of putting up a non-alco pub. What are the chances of that ever offing? lol :-) Now I have to go to the back of my mind and stew over that missed opportunity. "Doomed" is quite apt in this situation.
All the best for the new year!
