We should hold a review of Neopoet for a few days or so,
the last few weeks have been rather short of poets here.
I send stuff when I feel like it to a site that pays cents for them, but they send me a reminder that I haven't been there, if I leave it for a month or so.
We should send reminders to our poets that to stay silent is no good for them or the site.
I know Jess keeps on about support for the site monitory wise, I give when I feel too, but the last time I tried it was very hard to send money to Neopoet and I gave up.
It would be easy for the site to have a Paypal account then as most people deal with the net and probably have a Paypal account they would find it so much easier to donate.
Maybe at $44 there are many poetry writing church mice out there that would give less if the $44 was reduced a little.
What's $44 you may say it sounds like a small amount.
From trailer parks to mansions, poets send their work to us, and even when they pay nothing our site is still there to help them.
I feel that if the States and Australia are the same as here where the top 10% or even less, earn more than the rest of us together then there are an awful lot of poor people out there. I think that most of our Poets come in the bottom 90% and they would donate some coinage to the running of Neopoet.
We could hold a talk on this point some time.

I just sent Neopoet a donation and because I is a cheap bastard, I only sent $10 US, had I sent it Australian $ it may have been too much, I only get $250 per week to live on and life is hard

My silence
Has been for many reasons. I don't want to clog up the feed with the same bitter stories of how life has decided to continually Piss in my cornflakes. I am waiting until I can create something new and fresh and fairly structured. I am however a premium member who just renewed.before I was laid off. Hopefully I can come up with some good material soon.

As always, thank you for reaching out. I would love to express myself on here but I read the rules and blogs and this is a workshop. I don't want to abuse the privilege of being able to put work up for critique by using the site as a place to vent. When I vent my writing is sloppy. I don't want to be seen as a martyr or a complainer. Hopefully something good will come out of me sooner than later.

That is a good suggestion. ..i may try that as I need an outlet for the emotions and situations. Perhaps something credible will surface out of the same bitterness that seems to be always at my door.
