come on guys. you know how it works...YOU Don't just slap down a poem and then run off to whatever it is you do!!! in order to be a GOOD and REAL Neopoet, you read other neopoet's poems and then COMMENT on what you just read, and be supportive and helpful!!!
So Get With It!!!
from a Real Neopoet, Candlewitch/Cat
Seems to me...
that some people are afraid to disagree with anything that another older member or established poet has written. They don't want to seem ignorant or uninformed or that they honestly don't see anything to criticize. Yes, there are those that are older, established poets here that do just that, lay their work at the feet of us and traipse off, confident that we will solve their shoddy work or praise them and off they go. I'm not sure that they will ever change. I can't tell you, how many times, I have given good critique and the author has agreed completely, but never fixed the piece and gone off to "Never-never land and written something else that maybe will make the same mistake all over again. My advice is, when you become aware of this
you stop giving them your time and effort and concentrate on another who will accept and utilize your advice and thank you for it. We have dealt with others that have taken the route of "dumping" their poetry here and eventually, they get tired of not getting a response and leave. I guess that this is the best way to deal with them. ~ Geez.

thank you, Geez...
it is good to know that I am not the only one here who is frustrated by these so called Neopoets actions. I shall do as you have suggested.

Yes
You have voiced my voice
I have said often
Thanks
In some sites
one has to read and comment
at least two poems
before their poetry is rooted
Can Neo not introduce it
Ask Paul
dear lovedly,
I like your idea of two comments before a poem can be posted!

I've been barking since over a decade
My nephews were taught by him
let dogs bark
they will run away
we are still barking
he alone ran away
dear lovedly,
thank you, I knew i could count on you.
*hugs, Cat
dear Mark,
what you suggest makes perfect sense. my husband tells me that I am too sensitive and take things too hard. I am passionate about Neopoet, can't help it!
*hugs, Cat
