What does "scrolled" mean in this context?

When we talk about scrolled or scrolling in regards to Chat we are talking about using a small program that feeds a poem into the chat room line by line automatically. Poems with longer lines would need to be judged as to weather or not a full screen chat room would be more effective than the default sized chat room. In the default sized chat room a poem scrolled with long lines may wrap into two lines.
