as I think about it
never really had them
being born middle aged
...or so it seems now

anyway...

to those proponents of silliness
clowning, and buffoonery etc.
who might say "so pitiful"
I'll not try to change your minds

just one thing I'll add;
silliness is not the same as
nor inherently necessary
for happiness, joy, good humor,
laughter, or fun
that's why we have a seperate word for each

and please,
if you feel the need
to wear clown plaid at a funeral
wait 'til mine
by then
I won't care
